On Dec. 5 2009 celebrate the Christmas season at Shirley Plantation’s Open House. Relax with cider by the fireplace in the original Kitchen. Attend church services during “Role of Religion” explaining religious customs & church policy on Christmas traditions. Refreshments in the Kitchen available from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Dec. 5 & church services are scheduled for 11:30, 1:00 & 2:30 on Dec. 5. From Dec. 5-Jan. 6 enjoy tours of the Great House featuring Christmas stories dating back to the 1800s.
