Saturday May 2, 2009 Join the “HOKIE HOG” on the second annual
charity bike ride to Va Tech, Blacksburg, VA, to remember the second anniversary
of the April 2007 tragedy at VA TECH, we’re riding from Manassas to Blacksburg to present donations and visit the campus and memorial on the drill field.

6:30-8:00 sign-in/breakfast by Manassas Hooters, all out by 8:30am.
11:00-1:00 lunch Shenandoah HD.
3:00-5:00 ceremony at Va Tech Drill field (center of campus).
5:00-7:00 dinner / raffles New River Valley HD Christiansburg, Va
(next door to Quality Inn where we are staying.

On behalf of the many victims of the Virginia Tech tragedy on April 16, 2007, I challenge my Hokie friends to help contribute their continued support to those who were affected by the events of that sorrowful day. I challenge you to consider making a gift and help us raise the funds needed to ensure that their memories live on through
the Virginia Tech 32 Victim Fund. This fund will help support endowed scholarships in each of the victims’ names so that they will always be honored and remembered through new students attending Virginia Tech.

I’m working with Virginia Tech, and other groups to see that this cause is never forgotten. Donations can be on-line or by mail, in any amount, and are all appreciated. Or make checks payable to the “Virginia Tech Foundation” and on memo line
